COAL FLOATS.
IT IS FRAGILE AND MAY BREAK AND CRASH, but this has no effect on its effectiveness!
LE CHARBON ACTIF FRANÇAIS is a BIJIN brand.
Alexandra Polya simultaneously founded Bijin (organic cosmetics derived from ancestral Japanese beauty rituals) and Takesumi (bamboo charcoal) in late 2018 after a long 11-year stay in Japan.
Keen to limit its carbon footprint via Japanese charcoal imports, in 2020 it decided to offer a “made in France” alternative and teamed up with the last French carbonizer to provide a local, artisanal offering. French activated carbon becomes THE French solution for everyday water purification.
Their suppliers are craftsmen, descended from generations of Master Burners, and are the holders of ancestral know-how in the carbonization of activated vegetable charcoal. All coals are naturally carbonized, guaranteed free of chemical residues.
Their aim is to help reduce plastic waste by offering ecological, economical and practical solutions for water purification.
Their commitments
They are committed to offering ecological, zero-waste products and solutions that respect nature and people.
They apply the 5Rs rule: refuse, reduce, reuse, recycle, return to the earth, and work to ensure that everyone can apply them at their own level.
