Description

Le Carré essuie-tout – Moth by Tami Hopf by Les Paillettes Vertes

“Le Carré” is a highly absorbent, soft, reusable and eco-friendly terry towel.

For absorbing liquids, cleaning the kitchen or bathroom, sponging your table, polishingwindows, washing your children’s hands or wiping the dog’s paws, “Le Carré” is ultra-versatile. Highly absorbent, it’s pleasantly soft and lint-free.

When the need arises, simply run it through the washing machine or dishwasher (up to 95°C!). To revive its color, bathe it in a warm solution of sodium percarbonate.

As you can see, “Le Carré” can be used again, and again, and again! It’ll last for months , and when it’s too worn, simply compost it.

Made from 100% natural fibers (70% wood cellulose / 30% cotton), “Le Carré” is perfectly biodegradable and even compostable! In fact, it decomposes in your soil or compost in 24 weeks.

Fresh and beautiful for the start of spring!

Our new Carré essuie-tout is designed by Tami Hopf, a painter, illustrator and tattoo artist from Brasil and Vevey.

She created this moth for us, and what a beauty it is! A contraction of “fly” and “hand”, “Mothand” hides secrets within its lines. Can you discover them? 🙂

About Tami…

Artist-painter, illustrator and tattoo artist in Vevey.

You won’t want to miss his singular universe, a blend of human and nature, reverie and melancholy, and the sober colors that characterize all his creations: white, black and gold.

Tami paints on walls (in Vevey or Lausanne – on the Chauderon side), uses gold leaf on his canvases, has designed the Bon-Génie Christmas campaign and local wine labels, and appears in Swiss Tattoo, the first book devoted to the Swiss tattoo scene published by Helvetiq.

She created this moth for us, and what a beauty it is! A contraction of “fly” and “hand”, “Mothand” hides secrets within its lines. Can you discover them? 🙂

If you haven’t heard of Tami Hopf, we’re honored to introduce you to the fabulous work of this Brasilo-Veys-based artist through this collaboration on our eco-friendly paper towel.
