La Droguerie Ecologique 8% spirit vinegar is an aqueous solution containing 8% acetic acid. Traditionally used as a foodstuff in kitchens the world over, it is also a remarkable multi-purpose, ecological and inexpensive household product.

Its properties are numerous: food preservative, degreaser, deodorant, descaler, cleaner… and its uses are extensive: food, household, family hygiene and cosmetics.

It behaves like a weak acid, written CH3-COOH, which enables it to neutralize weak bases and break down carbonates in particular (including the limestone in our pipes).
