5 Reed straws 100% biodegradable<\/strong>, compostable<\/strong>, reusable<\/strong>, natural<\/strong> and local<\/strong>! + cleaning brush <\/p>\n

These straws are made from the natural stems of reeds<\/strong>. They are hollow and rigid, making them ideal for use as drinking straws, just like bamboo. They’re all-natural and therefore biodegradable, and what’s more, they’re home-grown<\/strong>\ud83d\ude42 <\/p>\n

It’s an ecological alternative to plastic straws<\/strong>, because as well as being biodegradable, it’s also reusable. In fact, reed straws can be washed in the dishwasher or by hand with a brush. <\/p>\n

Reed straw is long-lasting, durable and easy to clean<\/strong>. At the end of its life, it can be composted and recycled. <\/p>\n

About the brand<\/h3>\n

Paille&Co<\/strong> offers reed straws from Lake Neuch\u00e2tel<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Their straws are handmade<\/strong> as part of a psychosocial rehabilitation project<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

For this project, they are working closely with theAssociation de la Grande Cari\u00e7aie in Chesaux-Nor\u00e9az<\/strong> to supply reeds from the marshes.<\/p>\n

The reeds are cut <\/strong> between September and February<\/strong> in the southern part of Lake Neuch\u00e2tel to avoid disturbing the animals and vegetation<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
