The ones who knew all the secrets were our grandmothers!<\/p>\n

We sometimes hear that all this talk about natural household products is like going back in time… Well, yes, there’s a bit of that, but it’s all based on common sense! <\/p>\n

Between the time of our grandmothers and today, we’ve lost the habit of using natural, simple, healthy and oh-so-effective products. They understood everything! <\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

We’ve been caught up in the marketing spiral <\/b>that creates the need for a product for the floor, one for the bathroom, one for the stove, one for the vitroceram, one for the windows, one against limescale….. Countless bottles in our cupboards, containing a multitude of ingredients that are not harmless to the air in our homes or to our health.<\/p>\n

So little is needed to make our homes clean… and healthy!<\/p>\n

It’s almost a pleasure to rediscover ancestral gestures and habits from another era.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

As far as baking soda is concerned, to try it is to adopt it. Deodorant<\/b>, stain remover<\/b>, abrasive<\/b>, water softener<\/b>, non-toxic<\/b> and perfectly biodegradable<\/b>, its virtues and properties are almost limitless. We use it everywhere, for everything, with almost every sauce…. <\/p>\n

In its<\/b> more granular, technical version<\/b>, it is often used in household products. But it’s also extremely effective in cosmetics… as long as you choose the food or “pharmaceutical” version<\/g>. This makes it as fine as flour, and soft on the body. <\/p>\n

So what are we waiting for? Here’s a recipe<\/b> to get you started \ud83d\ude42 <\/p>\n

Dental rinse water<\/b><\/h3>\n

Ingredients<\/u><\/b><\/p>\n

A clean 250ml glass bottle<\/p>\n

1 tsp fine baking soda (pharma grade)<\/p>\n

15 drops of peppermint, tea tree or bay laurel essential oil*, used alone or in combination.<\/p>\n

How to proceed<\/u><\/b><\/p>\n

Pour boiled lukewarm water into your bottle, up to 3\/4 full.<\/p>\n

Add the baking soda and essential oils, and shake well.<\/p>\n

All set!<\/p>\n

Use<\/u><\/b><\/p>\n

Use mouthwash after brushing your teeth.<\/p>\n

Shake the bottle before each use, swirl for 30 sec. in the mouth and spit out.<\/p>\n

Smooth, fresh teeth guaranteed!<\/p>\n

*Caution: essential oils are powerful. They should not be used by children, pregnant or breast-feeding women. Always seek specialist advice before using essential oils. <\/b><\/p>\n

These 3 essential oils are recommended for the care of teeth and gums in case of gingivitis, mouth ulcers or dental pain:<\/p>\n

– peppermint <\/b>is refreshing, antibacterial and anti-inflammatory<\/p>\n

– tea tree<\/b> is antiseptic (antibacterial and antiviral)<\/p>\n

– noble laurel<\/b> is analgesic (painkiller) and antiseptic (antibacterial and antiviral)<\/p>\n
